The Asian Sudoku Championship 2025 is just around the corner, and Bangladesh is gearing up to participate with its brightest minds to compete on the international stage. This Championship is organised by the World Puzzle Federation.  If you’re passionate about Sudoku and love the thrill of solving puzzles, now’s your chance to represent Bangladesh at one of Asia's biggest Sudoku events. This is more than just a competition—it’s an opportunity to challenge yourself, connect with others who share your passion, and potentially elevate your puzzle-solving skills to a global level.

Due to visa-related concerns, the Bangladesh team will participate in the international round through online platforms. Before that, an offline Bangladesh national round will be held to select the best candidates to represent the country in this prestigious contest.

• Registration Fee: 500 BDT
• Eligibility Age: Participants must be born after January 1, 2007. 
• Age Group: U10, U12, U15, U18. 
• Bangladesh Round Date: December 6th January, 2024.
• Competition Time: 3 pm to 6 pm. 
• Venue: BdOSN Office. Level 12, 758 Satmasjid Road, Dhaka 1209
• Competition Format: offline (On Paper)

Eligibility:

• Open to individuals born after January 1, 2007.
• All participants must be citizens of Bangladesh.

Competition Rounds:

• The national round will take place on January 6, 2024.
• The competition will be held in an Offline. 

Puzzle Formats:

• The puzzles will be based on traditional Sudoku (9x9). 
• Timed rounds will test both speed and accuracy.

Code of Conduct:

• Participants must adhere to the rules regarding fair play. Use of external help (such as solving software or calculators) is prohibited.
• Cheating, malpractice and misbehaviour will result in immediate disqualification.

Scoring System:

• Each puzzle will carry a specific set of points, with difficulty levels determining the overall score.

Age Group Verification:

• Valid ID proof (such as a National ID, School ID / Certificate, or Birth Certificate) will be required for age verification.

Selection Process:

• The highest-scoring participants will be selected to represent Bangladesh at the Asian Sudoku Championship 2025.
• The decision of the judges will be final in the selection of international teams.

Asian Sudoku Championship 2025 - International Round 

Each country is permitted to register a total of up to 4 official teams. Each team must consist of 4 competitors in all age categories (U10, U12, U15, U18). Selected participants from the national rounds should team up with 4 members and pay 50 USD for each team (12.5 USD each participant). Unofficial competitors will not be listed in the official results and will not be eligible for official awards and prizes, nor for taking part in the play-offs.
