Armeen Musa is a versatile singer, songwriter, composer, and poet. Her journey in the music world officially started in 2005 with her remake of Bengali folk philosopher Radha Raman’s “Bhromor Koio Giya” and was recently re-released as part of Parisian record label Budhha Bar’s XVII.
Armeen formed Bangladesh’s first choir to sing Western arrangements of classic Bengali songs called Ghaashphoring Choir. She is currently part of Shayan Chowdhury Arnob’s production Coke Studio Bangla. Most recently her original song “Jaago Piya” as part of Berklee Indian Ensemble’s album “Shuruat” has been nominated for the 65th Grammy award in the category of Best Global Album.
