তুমি কি কখনো ভেবে দেখেছো, তোমার শরীরের কোষগুলো কোন ভাষায় কথা বলে? আমাদের ডিএনএ-কে কি পুনর্লিখন করে দুরারোগ্য ব্যাধি সারানো সম্ভব? এই মহাবিশ্বে আমরা কি একা? প্রকৃতিতে জীব এবং ভৌত জগত — দুটোর মধ্যেই কি কোনো অভিন্ন প্যাটার্ন লুকিয়ে আছে? আর কখনো কখনো — উত্তর অপেক্ষা প্রশ্নটাই কি বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হতে পারে?

এই কৌতূহল এবং বিস্ময়বোধই সকল মহান আবিষ্কারের সূচনা বিন্দু।

🤝 বাংলাদেশের আধুনিক জীবপ্রযুক্তির অন্যতম পথপ্রদর্শক বিজ্ঞানী আহমদ শামসুল ইসলাম ( এ এস আই) স্মরণে বাংলাদেশ বিজ্ঞান জনপ্রিয়করণ সমিতি (SPSB), গ্লোবাল নেটওয়ার্ক অফ বাংলাদেশী বায়োটেকনোলজিস্টস (GNOBB) এবং মাকসুদুল আলম সায়েন্স ল্যাবরেটরি (MASLab)-এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত এই ক্যাম্পে তোমার বিস্ময়কে বিজ্ঞানের পথে পরিচালিত করতে আমরা প্রস্তুত।

🧭 আমাদের অনন্য ত্রি-স্তরীয় অভিযাত্রা

 ১. 🌐অনলাইন ক্যাম্প: বিজ্ঞানের নতুন দিগন্ত

এখানে তুমি দেশের সেরা বিজ্ঞানী ও গবেষকদের সাথে জীববিজ্ঞানের মৌলিক ও আধুনিক বিষয় নিয়ে আয়োজিত সেশনে অংশ নেবে।

 ২. 🏕️অফলাইন ক্যাম্প: হয়ে ওঠো একজন বিজ্ঞানী

 নির্বাচিতদের নিয়ে ঢাকায় একটি আবাসিক অফলাইন ক্যাম্প অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এখানে তুমি ল্যাবে হাতে-কলমে কাজ করার সুযোগ পাবে, বিভিন্ন বিশেষ পরিদর্শনে অংশ নেবে এবং বাস্তব জীবনের উদ্ভাবকদের সাথে পরিচিত হবে। 

 ৩. 🎓ফেলোশিপ ও ইন্টার্নশিপ: গবেষণায় হাতেখড়ি

অভিযাত্রা এখানেই শেষ নয়। অফলাইন ক্যাম্পের সেরা শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য দেশের স্বনামধন্য গবেষণাগারে ইন্টার্নশিপ কিংবা নিজের গবেষনার আইডিয়াকে প্রস্ফুটিত  করে তুলতে থাকবে ফেলোশিপের সুযোগ। যা তোমাদের গবেষণার জগতে একটি মজবুত ভিত্তি গড়ে তুলবে।

এবারের পাঠ্যক্রম ‘জীবন’ ও ‘জীববিজ্ঞান’-র আন্তঃসম্পর্কিত জগতের গভীরে নিয়ে যাবে:

🌱 জীবনের ভিত্তি:

“Curiosity to Science: How Science Searches for Truth” সেশনের মাধ্যমে বিজ্ঞানের বড় প্রশ্নগুলো দিয়ে তোমার যাত্রা শুরু হবে। "Tree of Life: From LUCA to Homo Sapiens"-এর মাধ্যমে আমাদের উৎস সন্ধান করবো এবং "Whispers of Life: How Nature Talks Without Words" সেশনে কোষীয় সংকেত ও প্রকৃতির নীরব ভাষা সম্পর্কে জানবো।

🧬জীবনের কোড পরিবর্তন ও রোগ নিরাময়:

CRISPR-এর বিপ্লবী জগতে প্রবেশের আগে "DNA and the Code of Life" সেশনের মাধ্যমে জীবনের মূল কোড সম্পর্কে গভীরভাবে জানবো। এরপর দেখব, আধুনিক ঔষধ, ভ্যাকসিন কীভাবে তৈরি হয় এবং কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা (AI) কীভাবে সাহায্য করছে মানুষের হাসি থেকে পারকিনসনের মতো রোগ নির্ণয়ে বা Alphafold ব্যবহার করে কীভাবে প্রোটিন ফোল্ডিংয়ের মত অমীমাংসিত সমস্যার সমাধান হচ্ছে।

🎨 বাস্তবে বিজ্ঞান: নকশা, শিল্প ও পরিবেশ:

"Life Patterns & Fractals" কর্মশালায় জীবনের সুন্দর প্যাটার্নগুলো আবিষ্কার করো। "From Nature to Robots" সেশনে দেখবে কীভাবে প্রকৃতি স্মার্ট ডিজাইনের অনুপ্রেরণা জোগায়। ল্যাবের বাইরে এসে পরিবেশবিদ ড. হাসিব ইরফানউল্লাহর থেকে জানবো প্লাস্টিক, দূষণ ও জীববৈচিত্র্য নিয়ে এবং হাজারীবাগে Atelier Robin Architect-এ গিয়ে দেখবো কীভাবে জীববিজ্ঞান ও পরিবেশ স্থাপত্যকে প্রভাবিত করে।

🌿 বাস্তব উদ্ভাবকদের সাথে সংযোগ:

‘Biocity: Youth for Urban Wetland Revival’- প্রতিযোগিতার বিজয়ী দলের সাথে একটি বিশেষ প্যানেল আলোচনায় অংশ নাও এবং তরুণদের কাছ থেকে অনুপ্রাণিত হও যারা পরিবেশগত সমস্যার বাস্তব সমাধান করছে।

🔍 অদেখা ও অজানার সন্ধান:

 ‘Are we alone in our body?—Introduction to Microbiome and Metagenomics’ সেশনে তোমার শরীরের ‘মাইক্রোবায়োম’-র বিশাল জগৎ অনুসন্ধান করো। অফলাইন ক্যাম্পে হাতে কলমে পরীক্ষণের মাধ্যমে চায়ের মধ্যে মাইক্রোপ্লাস্টিক খুঁজে বের করবো এবং ‘The Genetic Archaeologist: Discovering the Past Through DNA’ সেশনে দেখবো আমাদের ডিএনএ কীভাবে সাহায্য করতে পারে আমাদের অতীত আবিষ্কার করতে। এবং  "ভিনগ্রহের প্রাণের অনুসন্ধানে" সেশনে দেখবো এই সুবিশাল মহাবিশ্বে প্রাণের সন্ধান কীভাবে করছেন বিজ্ঞানীরা। 

🧑‍🔬 বিজ্ঞানী হয়ে ওঠা:

প্রয়োজনীয় ল্যাব দক্ষতা অর্জন করো ‘’মাকসুদুল আলম বিজ্ঞান ল্যাবরেটরি (ম্যাসল্যাব)'-এ হাতে-কলমে পরীক্ষণ শেখার মাধ্যমে এবং ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ‘অণুজীববিজ্ঞান’, ’প্রাণরসায়ন ও অণুপ্রাণবিজ্ঞান' , ‘’জীন প্রকৌশল ও জীবপ্রযুক্তি' বিভাগসহ বিভিন্ন স্বনামধন্য গবেষনাগার পরিদর্শনের মাধ্যমে। এছাড়াও একটি বাস্তব ল্যাবের ভার্চুয়াল ট্যুরের মাধ্যমে "বিজ্ঞানীর দৈনন্দিন জীবন" কেমন হয়, তা সরাসরি অনুভব করবো আমরা।

অনলাইন এবং অফলাইন ক্যাম্পের বিস্তারিত সময়সূচী আমাদের সোস্যাল মিডিয়া পেজসমূহ এবং নিবন্ধনকৃত শিক্ষার্থীদের দেয়া ইমেইলে পাঠিয়ে দেয়া হবে।

🏕️ ধাপ ২: অফলাইন ক্যাম্প

অফলাইন ক্যাম্পের জন্য আমন্ত্রণ: অনলাইন ক্যাম্পের সার্বিক পারফরম্যান্সের উপর ভিত্তি করে সেরা ২৫ জন শিক্ষার্থীকে অফলাইন ক্যাম্পে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হবে।

খরচ যা আমরা বহন করব: ক্যাম্পের সাথে সম্পর্কিত সমস্ত খরচ, যেমন - ল্যাবের সকল ফি, ক্যাম্পের সময়কালীন খাবার এবং ঢাকার মধ্যে যাতায়াত, সম্পূর্ণভাবে আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে বহন করা হবে।

থাকার ব্যবস্থা: অনুগ্রহ করে মনে রাখবে যে, থাকার খরচ এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত নয়। তবে যাদের প্রয়োজন, তাদের জন্য আমরা বৃত্তির ব্যবস্থা রেখেছি।

তোমার কি থাকার ব্যাপারে সাহায্য প্রয়োজন? 

তুমি যদি অফলাইন ক্যাম্পের জন্য নির্বাচিত হও এবং ঢাকায় তোমার থাকার জায়গার প্রয়োজন হয়, তবে তুমি থাকার ব্যবস্থার জন্য আলাদাভাবে আবেদন করতে পারবে। সেই আবেদনের উপর ভিত্তি করে আমরা ক্যাম্প সময়কালীন থাকার খরচের জন্য সম্পূর্ণ (full) বা আংশিক (partial) বৃত্তি প্রদান করব।

The ASI School of Life is named after one of the pioneers of modern Biotechnology in Bangladesh: Professor Ahmad Shamsul Islam (A.S.I.)

Selected participants will be invited to an exclusive, all-expenses-paid offline camp. Here, you will get real, hands-on lab experience, interactive workshops, participate in exclusive visits, and engage with real-world problem-solvers.

🧬 Hacking the Code & Curing Disease:

Delve into the "DNA and the Code of Life" before exploring the revolutionary world of CRISPR. Then, see how science fights back in sessions on modern medicines, vaccines, and using AI to understand diseases like Parkinson's or to fold Protein through Alphafold. 

🎨 Biology in Action: Design, Art & Environment:

Explore the beautiful mathematics of life in the Life Patterns & Fractals workshop. See how nature inspires smart design in "From Nature to Robots." Go beyond the lab to discuss Plastic, Pollution & Biodiversity with environmentalist Dr. Haseeb Irfanullah and visit the acclaimed Atelier Robin Architect to see how biology and environment influences design. 

🌿 Engaging with Real-World Innovators:

Participate in a special panel with the winning team of 'Biocity: Youth for Urban Wetland Revival' and get inspired by young change-makers who are solving critical environmental problems right now.

🔍 Exploring the Unseen & Unknown:

Investigate the vast communities of your microbiome, hunt for microplastics in your tea with a hands-on lab, become a "Genetic Archaeologist" to discover the past in our DNA, and join the "Search for Alien Life" with a session on Astrobiology. 

🧑‍🔬 Becoming a Scientist:

Master essential lab skills, learn how to design your own experiments, and get a true feel for a "Day in the Life of a Scientist" through virtual tours from a real lab.

🏕️ Step 2: The Exclusive Offline Camp

Invitation to the Offline Camp: Based on overall performance, the top 25 students from the Online Camp will be invited to attend the in-person Offline Camp. 

What We Cover: All program-related costs are fully funded. This includes all lab fees, food, and local transport within Dhaka during the camp. 

Accommodation: Please note that accommodation is not automatically included. However, we offer support for those who need it. 

Need Accommodation Support? 

If you are selected for the Offline Camp and require a place to stay in Dhaka, you can submit a separate application for accommodation support. Based on this application, we will provide full and partial scholarships to cover housing costs.
